PATIENT OF THE MONTH
SEDA
Seda came to see us for two reasons. She was not happy with her breathing and wanted improvement in her nose’s appearance. Her blocked breathing was caused by “the usual suspects”, deviated/crooked internal septum and enlarged turbinates. The crooked septum was also causing minor crookedness on the outside of her nose. But Seda’s main concerns about her nose’s appearance were the bump, the width of the tip and the downward plunge of her nose with smile. That “pull down” made her nose look a bit larger and longer. Her nose was detracting from her otherwise superb facial architecture.
AFTER 5 dAYS
Looking good right after splint, Kotler Nasal Airway and internal packing removed. Both the cosmetic and functional surgery were done simultaneously. Minimal swelling and bruising after a two and a half-hour operation that takes apart and reconstructs every portion of the nose, internal and external. All performed internally via the “Closed Rhinoplasty” approach. No external scar. All stitches dissolve.
VIDEO TESTIMONIAL
Seda’s post-operative course was typical. The photos of her journey tell the story best. In the end, a double winner. She is very pleased with her appearance and has clear breathing. It is very gratifying for Dr. Kotler and office staff to deliver a permanent correction of problems that linger until corrected.
